Curious Nicholas Turns Two!

I still can’t believe our little boy is already TWO! I thought year one went by fast, but year two seems to be a blur. I’m so thankful I have all the pictures to remind me of all the stages, moments and milestones of his second year of life.

While the first birthday is special on so many levels, this year I felt like our little boy really had an opinion and I loved planning out the small details of his party - most importantly the cake!  He LOVES Curious George and he had the biggest smile on his face when I told him he was going to have a Curious George cake for his birthday. He was so cute and kept asking for George and his cake the days leading up to his party. When his big day arrived, it was so fun to see the expression on his face. To say the cake and the cupcakes were a hit is an understatement.

Last year, we had a custom cake make by Sweet Bakery (you can check out all the party details here) and it was only fitting we had them make the cake this year - the staff was so responsive and easy to work with and they are my go-to for custom cupcakes. 

Seeing his smile when we first brought out the cake and helping him blow out the candles was by far my best memory from the day. I will treasure these little moments for years to come!
