Fall Wardrobe Refresh
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s chilly enough for layers, but not so cold that I need to bury myself under a heavy winter coat. This season has not disappointed and even though I’m leaning to a more casual look these days, I’m gravitating towards cozy layers and pieces that still feel polished and comfortable.
Sweaters
I have a bit of an obsession with winter white and neutral sweaters. If you were to look at my closet you would definitely see a pattern. I would consider my Fall/Winter uniform to consist of a neutral sweater, jeans and boots. This sweater is amazing and comes in some great colors, but here are a few of my favorites right now.
Denim
I’m also completely obsessed with high-waisted denim. The fit is flattering, I feel like it sucks everything in and it’s amazing to not feel like I need to constantly tug at my jeans when I’m running around chasing the kiddos.
Boots
Booties are a must have this season and I’ve literally lived in this pair. The color is perfect, they are so comfortable and they go with some many different colors. I also love the over-the-knee boot and I’m thinking about investing in a pair this season.
Athleisure
Because I work from home, my Monday through Friday look is a combination of athleisure wear and looks. I’ve fully embraced this style and I’ve found a couple pieces that are perfect for creating a more pulled together look that will take me from drop-off, throughout my workday, pick-up and errands.
The Basics
And, for those investment pieces I think everyone should have a tailored black or navy blazer and layering tees in all the basic colors They are a closet staple and when I do have client meetings or office visits I reach for a blazer every time.
